How is accessibility provided wiCh regards to the accessible route from <br />designated accessible parking areas, seating, counters, point of sale <br />service counters, controls and operating mechanisms, sinks, and <br />kitchens per IBC sections 1109.10, 1109.11.3, 1109.12, 1109.3, and <br />1109.4 ? <br />Occupancy <br />1. Occupancy type, occupancy load calculations, and square footage <br />areas should be shown to support the occupancy load information <br />shown on sheet G002, sumnarized per floor. The occupancy load on <br />the basement floor should be included. <br />2. Please clarify the selection of non-separated uses by ider�tifying that <br />code section on the code analysis sheet G002, per IBC section 508.3. <br />3. Please identify any incidental accessory occupancies r�nd the <br />requirements for those occupancies on the code analysis sheet G002, <br />per IBC section and table 508.2.5. The rooms used to collect waste <br />and linen that are over 100 squarE feet should include details of <br />construction capable of resistiny the passage of smoke, per IBC <br />section 508.2.5.2. <br />4. All assembly occupancies identified in IBC section 303, or defined by <br />the function of the space per If3C table 1004.1.1, should have the <br />occupant load of the room or space posted near the main exit or exit <br />access doorway, and shown on the drawings, per IBC sectior 1004.3. <br />Construction <br />� 1. Shaft enclosures of four stories or more should be shown on the <br />drawings as two hour fire-resistance rated construction, since the <br />basement is considered a story, per IBC section 708.4. <br />2. The skylight areas over the atrium should be shown on the third floor <br />reflected ceiling plan, since they are less than 55 feet above the Floor <br />and will require sprinklers, per IBC section 404.3. <br />3. Partition types 22, 24, 25 and 30 should reference a UL assembly that <br />has two studs with a space in between. <br />4. The opening area around stair 3 should be dimensioned, per IBC <br />section 708.2.2 exception 2.1. <br />5. The suspended ceiling details should be shown on the drawings per <br />attached Northwest Technical ?nstitut� bulletin, to include stabilization <br />for seismic requirements and the two inch angle requirements at edge <br />of ceiling. <br />
