Replacements: in the event of damage, immediately make all repairs and <br /> replacements necessary to the approval of the Owner and authorized agents at no <br /> additionai cost to the County. <br /> PART2 -PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 GENERAL <br /> A. All concrete reinforcement materials shall be new and free from rust, and ahall comply <br /> with the following reference standards: <br /> 1. Bars for reiniorcement shall comply with the requirements of "Specifications for <br /> Deformed and Plaln Billet-Steel Bars for Concrete Reinforcement," ASTM A 615, <br /> Grade 60, or ASTM A 706 if indicated on the drawings. <br /> 2. Wire for roinforcement shall comply with the requirements of "Specifications for <br /> Steel Wire, Plain, tor Concrete Reinforcement,"ASTM A 82. <br /> 2.02 OTHER MATERIALS <br /> A. All other materials not specifically described, but required for a complete and proper <br /> installation of reinforcement, shell be selected by the Contractor, subJect to the <br /> approval of the Engineer. <br /> PART 3 -EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 GENERAL <br /> A. Prior to installation of this section, carefully inspect the installed work of other trades <br /> and verify that such work is complete to the poin� where this installation may properly <br /> commence. <br /> 3.02 REINFORCING STEEL BARS <br /> A. Order Lists: Before ordering material, fumish all order lista end bending diagrams for <br /> approval by the Owner and authorized agents. Reinforcement placing drawings <br /> submitted for approval shall conform to CRSI detailing practice. Do not order material <br /> until sucti lists and bending diagrams have been approved. The approval of order lists <br /> and bending dia�rams by the Owner and authorized agents ehall in no way relieve the <br /> Contractor of responsibility for the correctness of such Iists and diagrams. <br /> B. Fabrication: Bend all bars cold to the shapes indicated on the drawings, unless <br /> otherwise approved by the Owner and authorized agents. Do not fieid-bend bare <br /> partially embedded in concrete, except as indicated on the drawings or as approved by <br /> April 27, 2001 03200 - 2 <br /> �J <br />
