The areas at tlie outlets of the
t7 y
y grass line swales will be planted with three-square bulrush
and spikerush to maximize the biofiltration of the water as it
y enters into the site.
HO
The entire buffer area will over-seeded with a grass mix
of redtop, meadow foxtail (native) , and Oregon bentgrass.
This will provide soil stabilization and create a habitat for
i small rodents . Once the area is planted, slips of black
cottonwood and willow will be pluyged in between planted trees
to insure an increased densit to
 y, provide a secondary tree
age to compensate for trees that will die in the first 2 to 3
years after construction, and to provide a staggered age class
in the woodlot area.

I The planting plan is_included_as L3 Landscape/Wetland
 ' Mitigation Plan Drawing and Table 1. . " , , %
'_' 1' --- -
' ' 8. The water will be focused through three
'1 grass-lined swales which will run along the upper edge of the
mitigation wetland. The grass-lined swalPs will remove a
majr portion of any parking lot residues or sedimer,ts before
1 they enter into the wetland. All waters will pass through oil
separators prior to entering the grassland swales to reduce
,' the potential of oil and qrease reaching either the swale or
 the wetlands mitigation area.

' With the berm set at elevation 563 , the waters will enter
the site filling the lower portions in the southern edge of
' the wetland first. As the water. increases in depth, it will
' back through and around the elevation 562 area creatinq an
irrigation system for the periphery of the buffer planting and
for the trees in the elevation 564 and 565 areas. During
periods of heavy rain , the waters will increase to depths
greater than 563 and remain these until the water is metered
ot through the culvert under Casino Road.
