The evaluation of the runoff volumes peak flow rates, <br />hydrograph and basin routing procedures were conducted <br />using the Storm Water Management Model, (SWMM). The <br />original SWMM program was originally introduced in 1971 <br />by Metcalf and Eddy through sponsorship from the <br />Environmental Protection Agency. Subsequent updates have <br />modified the original program to account for single event <br />and continuous simulation capabilities. The version used <br />for this analysis is SWMM 4.0, which was released in <br />January, 1988. <br />The SWMM Program consists of computational blacks which <br />can be used individually or in combination to evaluate <br />00.4 various aspects of storm water systems. Some of the major <br />blocks are listed as follows: <br />♦ Runoff <br />t Transport <br />t Extended Transport (EXTRAN) <br />t Combine <br />t Storage/Treatment <br />t Receiving Water <br />t Executive <br />3 <br />
