Please advise if the following meeting summary shouid be corrected (lhe
action items for the mechanical permit submittal will be sent by e-mail tomorrow).
A description of how the maximum occupant load wili be kept to 49 people by JASE LLC should be submitted to 7or.y
Lee, Permit Service Manager, COE, for review. The drawings should not show more seating than the maximum
occupant load will allow simultaneously in the spa pool area and the lounge area for a tolal of 49 people, unless exiting
revisions are made to the plans as currently drawn. Clarifications rray be required to the 5rst floor entry area used as
a control point for maximum occupancy. See attachment
✓• A future commercial kitchen with a Type I Hood would require the exiting to be revised to separate the two exits per
code, with a separate corridor.
`'• The drawings have to state clearly that the door separating the two tenants in the basement(JASE LLC 8 The Full
Gospel Mission Church)will remain unlocked irom both directions since both tenants require two exits at all times
from the basement, when the space is occupied. Required exit signage, emergency lighting and panic hardware
shouid be r,hown on the plans.
1• The doors into the shower areas should have a 48 inch deep space between the strke and he opposing wall; 54
inches if a closer is on the door, per ICC/ANSI Figure 404.2.3.1 (.
• Specific materiais to controi the vapor from the pool and sauna areas should be show on the architectural drawings
to include the ceiling treatment in addition to the wall and floor treatment. See attached e-maii.
The nev exhaust fans on the roof should be shown to be a minimum ten feet away from the existing AHUs, see
attachment tor reference.
• The drawings should clarify that the VA construction is utilizing the sprinkler substitution instead af rated floor-ceiling
assemblies. The previous permits have been attached for reference.
----------------------------
I u L i
3053_OOl.pdf(2 3056_OOl.pdf(267 3D57_001.pdf(1 OOfr7_OO1.pdf(21 I
M6) KB) MB) KB)
Meg-}{a.7.ry
Plans Examiner.
