9 <br /> The anticipated construction schedule is as follows: <br /> Award and Notice to Proceed End of May <br /> Mobilization&removal of existing lining June-July <br /> Lining replacement July-August <br /> Clean-up and Testing Early September <br /> Place Iine in service Late September <br /> Phase 4, Repair of Crosstown Pipe Lining <br /> Task 1. Meetings, Coordination, and Administration <br /> CH2M HILL staff will prepare for and participate in a kick-off meeting and additional <br /> coordination meetings with City staff throughout the project. For budgeting purposes,six <br /> coordination meetings are assumed,each requiring 6 hours of time to prepare and attend. <br /> Two CH2M HILL staff will attend four of the meetings,and one staff will attend the other two <br /> meetings. <br /> Coordination of the project work includes internal meetings,responding to questions,record <br /> management,and other assistance to the City. For budget purposes,one week of project <br /> manager time and one week of office time is included for coordination activities. <br /> Monthly reports and invoices will be prepared and combined with the reports and invoices for <br /> Phase 3. Project administration tasks include filing of documents,tracking project costs,and <br /> project closeout activities. The duration of the project is assumed to be 8 months and one day <br /> each month will be required for these activities. <br /> Task 2. Site Visits <br /> CH2M HILL staff will conduct three site visits to:1)select locations for entry into the pipeline <br /> for inspection of the interior lining,2)select locations for inspection of the exterior coating, <br /> and 3)select permissible locations of entry pits for the construction contractor. For budgeting <br /> purposes,it is assumed that two staff will make the site visits and each visit will require 6 <br /> hours of time. <br /> Task 3. Inspection of Pipeline and Preparation of Report <br /> CH2M HILL staff will observe the interior and exterior of the pipeline two locations. <br /> Photographs will be taken in areas with spalled lining,pits will be measured with a pit gauge, <br /> and the lining will be checked to determine if it can be easily removed. CH2M HILL will <br /> furnish the required safety equipment for pipe entry. The City will excavate and backfill the <br /> pits as necessary to inspect the pipe exterior. <br /> Two samples of the existing lining will be sent to a laboratory for a petrographic analysis to <br /> determine the cement/sand ratio. <br /> CH2M HILL will prepare a report of findings and a recommendation regarding replacement <br /> of the lining.
