Coordinate with the generator enclosure vendor(Cummins NW)on the requirenients associated <br /> with the noise and electrical distribution requirements associated with the mounting of the generator <br /> in the enclosure and the associated power distribution requirements. ECS will coordinate with the <br /> City that the improvements to the generator by Cummins (or others)will be done by the City or part <br /> of the bid documents. <br /> 6. Prepare a design memorandum listing all final design requirements and project approach <br /> components. This will identify all of the electrical design components (i.e. switch ratings,conduit <br /> and wire sizes,generator/enclosure configuration,etc.),an anticipated design and bidding schedule <br /> and an estimate of anticipated construction costs associated with the electrical bid portion of the <br /> work. This memo will also include a preliminary single line drawing,a proposed location for the <br /> generator and transfer switches,and a proposed route for the electrical feed to the Panama building. <br /> 7. Attend a review meeting with the City to discuss the design memorandum and address any <br /> questions. <br /> 8. Prepare detailed drawing and design development.Based on the information provided in the design <br /> memo,ECS will prepare drawings and specifications for the bid of the electrical portion of the <br /> project. The drawings will be: <br /> El —Electrical Symbols&Abbreviations <br /> E2—Vicinity and Electrical Site Plan <br /> E3—Single Line diagram and Load Calculations <br /> E4—Electrical Installation Sections, Elevations and Details <br /> 9. Prepare the detailed generator pad construction drawing(s)with construction requirement <br /> specifications that cover all site development and civil construction. Coordinate as necessary with <br /> City building department to obtain the building permit, for generator pad (by sub-consultant). <br /> 10. Conduct an internal coordination and Quality Control / Quality Assurance review of the drawings <br /> and specifications. . <br /> 11. Submittal of all drawings and specifications, and cost estimate for review and 90% (estimated) <br /> completion for review by the City. <br /> 12. Attend a review meeting with the City to discuss the 90%submittal and address any questions. <br /> 13. Incorporate 90%design review meeting comments and prepare drawings for bidding <br /> 14. Conduct an internal coordination and Quality Control / Quality Assurance review of the drawings <br /> and specifications and stamp drawings for bid package preparation. <br /> Task 2.Assistance During Construction Components: <br /> 1. Attend a pre-bid walkthrough with the City and contractors selected form the small works roster. <br /> 2. Provide bid assistance by answering questions &preparation of a single addendum (if necessary). <br /> 3. Review contractor bids and make recommendation of City acceptance/rejection. <br /> 4. Attend pre-construction meeting with successful bid contractor. <br /> 5. Review contractor submittal (one original and one re-submittal). <br /> 6. Conduct 3 site visits during the construction phase to review construction progress and compliance <br /> with the bid documents. <br /> 7. Conduct a punch-list and final walkthrough. <br /> 8. Prepare record drawings from contractor mark-ups and deliver to City in hard copy and electronic <br /> format. <br /> Task 3. Project Management: <br /> 1.
