Optional Services: The following services will be provided by ECS on an hourly basis at the rates shown in Exhibit B, per the hours budgeted in Exhibit B. Work under this task must be prior approved in writing by the City's project manager, and only be used at the discretion of the City. : 1. Modification/conversion of any drawings provided to ECS to meet City of Everett CAD standards. 2. Re-design of electrical service at the Building 4. 3. Investigation of, and obtaining any necessary land use other related permits (including coordination associated with City noise ordinances). 4. Design of any spill containment or mitigation. 5. Bid tabulation. 6. Daily construction inspection services. 7. Weekly construction meetings 8. Progress payment reviews SCHEDULE: 1. Project set-up/review of city provided documents complete/ design site visit complete: 3 weeks after NTP and receipt of City provided drawings. 2. Release of design memo: 2 weeks after site visit 3. Release of 90%design review documents: 4 weeks after receiving City comments on design memo: 4. Release of Bid ready documents: 2 weeks after receiving City comments on 90% submittal. DELIVERABLES: ECS will provide the following deliverable items in accordance with the above schedule: 1. Six copies of the Design Memo and 11 X 17 paper copies of the drawings 2. Six 11 X 17 paper copies of the 90% submittal drawings and 6 bound copies of the technical specifications. 3. One full size velum and one 11 X 17 paper copy of the bid drawings and one un-bound copy of the technical specifications. 4. One CD with electronic copies of the bid drawings (AutoCAD) and specifications (MS Word). 5. One full size velum and one 11 X 17 paper copy of the record drawings 6. One CD with electronic copy of the record drawings (AutoCAD). INFORMATION AND WORK TO BE PROVIDED BY CITY: Per our discussions,we have identified the following items that will be provided by the City: 1. All available electrical drawings associated with the site and buildings including single line diagrams, plan drawings, site plans, etc. Drawings that will require modifications will be provided in electronic (AutoCAD) format. 2. Development of Division 0 and 1 specifications necessary for small works construction contract. 3. Assembly of bid documents from the technical specifications and drawings developed by ECS. Drawings will be prepared in AutoCAD, and in accordance with the City of Everett CAD standards. Data sheets will be developed on Excel spreadsheets. The work will be accomplished on an hourly plus expenses basis not to exceed the amount shown on the attached Fee Estimate worksheets. 53
