6
Approximate
OUT OF SCOPE ITEMS(CONTINUED) Design Fee
PLANT WATER PROJECT
Plant water system
A feeder from FWPS2 MCC section 7 of 10 to supply the new plant water pump
building MCC
The vertical buss in this section is rated at 300 amps and will have to be changed to
600 amp. Per phone discussion with Derrick Foeller at AB on 3/19,no need to
change bus. Horiz bus is center located so there are 2 separate 300 amp buses. Can
install up to 225 amp molded case breaker without major modification work
Therefore assume that 225 A feeder to plant water in the lower half of the vertical bus
and a 80 amp approx breaker in the upper half of the vertical bus.
Load to be calculated with the idea of supplying the new Chlorine building load from
the Plant Water Pump MCC(or the FWPS2 MCC.) Will assume feed from the
FWPS2 MCC since it allows the PW feeder breaker to be sized at 225 amps which we
can probably live with.
Remove the feeder from the new plant water pump building to FWPS1 (this will free up
a breaker that can be used as a tie breaker that is Kirk key interlocked).
Conduit from FWPS2 to the new plant water pump building(perhaps utilizing the
same in-slab feed abandoned by the FWPS1 bullet above.) We could possibly
intercept this but it may be easier to just route direct to the PW building. We would
$7,000
want two conduits, one for PW and one for new Chlor bldg. Will need to core hole out
of building next to MCC 2 to get conduits from MCC 2 outside the building. Probably
add a site elect plan.
Reconfigure the existing pumps controls. Not in original scope This includes a new
remote I/O panel powered from an existing standby power backed 120 V circuit. The
City will provide interconnect serial I/O cable from the I/O panel to an avaialble 1/0 $5,900
data port in the PLC in FWPS2.Will include testing of the data comm in the contract
docs. Add a detail for I/O terminal block arrangement.
GENERAL
99%submittal requested on 3/18104
Original scope did not include a 99%submittal. $1,300
Update Specification format:Everett front end to CSI and submittal register
Originally was given WSDOT style from City to include in documents. $1,000
Total Electrical $27,500
Total Other $12,400
Total ;39,900
30 Page2of2
