To provide geotechnical information for the design and construction management services <br /> associated with the project. <br /> Approach. Existing geotechnical and soil data will be used to support the structural design of the <br /> hypochlorite building and will be reviewed. The data may be supplemented using new test pit data to be <br /> generated by the City.A soil boring is provided for in the budget but may not be used if the existing data is <br /> determined to be adequate.Any geotechnical support required during construction will be assumed to be the <br /> responsibility of the contractor or the City. <br /> Geotechnical data will be reviewed and will be provided by the City,as follows. <br /> 1. Shannon and Wilson report for original plant design. <br /> 2. Geotechnical report associated with MWH Finished Water Pump Station. <br /> 3. Geotechnical report associated with the Dames and Moore Dam Rehab project. <br /> Products. Technical memorandum reporting geotechnical review findings. <br /> City's Responsibilities.
