Task 511: Civil Design <br /> Objective. The purpose of this task is to design civil site work up to and including final drawings and <br /> specifications suitable for inclusion in public bidding documents for the project. <br /> Approach. This task consists of all work necessary for completion of civil and site design included in this <br /> project. Civil drawings will be based on base map drawings of the existing facilities and buried utilities, <br /> engineering calculations, and existing geotechnical information collected. This task also includes design of <br /> roads,site excavation and grading,drainage,building utilities,yard piping,and erosion control. <br /> Activities/Products. Civil drawings will be prepared for buried piping and utility relocations,buried valves, <br /> and vaults and other civil site work aspects of any new associated with the miscellaneous improvements <br /> project. This scope is based on the following civil site work requirements for the project. <br /> 1. Products for this task include analysis and calculations associated with design of piping systems. <br /> 2. General (G) and Civil (C) drawings and specifications will be submitted with the 50, 90 and 99 <br /> percent design review submittals and will be included in the project manual. <br /> City's Responsibilities. <br /> 1. Review 50,90 and 99 percent design review submittals. <br /> 2. <br /> Provide as-built drawings for the facilities associated with the project and associated piping systems. <br /> 3. Provide base survey of site for design. <br /> 4.
