8 <br /> "All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, sex, sexual <br /> orientation, religion or national origin, creed, marital status, age, Vietnam era or other veteran's <br /> status, or mental or physical handicap". <br /> E. All subcontracts awarded in excess of$10,000 by the Contractor or subcontractor shall contain a <br /> provision requiring compliance with Executive Order 11246 entitled "Equal Employment <br /> Opportunity" as amended by Executive Order 11375 and supplemented in U.S. Department of <br /> Labor regulations, 41 CFR 60. <br /> Nondiscrimination in Client Services: <br /> A. For qualified individuals, the Contractor and it's subcontractor(s), if any, shall not on the <br /> grounds of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, creed, national origin, marital status, age, <br /> Vietnam era or other veteran's status, or mental or physical handicap: <br /> 1. Deny, restrict, limit or treat differently the participation in and the delivery of services <br /> and/or benefits from that made available, to others. <br /> 2. Employ criteria and methods of(a) selection of recipients, individually or as a class, and <br /> (b) administering services and/or benefits that have the effect of subjecting individuals to <br /> discrimination or unequal treatment. <br /> B. The Contractor and it's subcontractor(s), if any, shall abide by all provisions of Section 504 of <br /> the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, American's with Disabilities Act, and any amendments, <br /> prohibiting discrimination against handicapped persons. <br /> C. If assignment and/or subcontracting has been authorized by the County, the terms required in this <br /> Agreement and any additional appropriate safeguards against discrimination shall be included in <br /> the assignment or the subcontract and shall be binding upon the subcontractor in order to prohibit <br /> discrimination or unequal treatment. The Contractor shall ensure full compliance with the <br /> provisions of this clause. <br /> NONCOMPLIANCE WITH NONDISCRIMINATION PLAN <br /> In the event of the Contractor's noncompliance or refusal to comply with the nondiscrimination <br /> provisions in this Agreement, the County may rescind, cancel or terminate this Agreement in whole or in <br /> part, and declare the contractor ineligible for further contracts with the County. The County may, <br /> however, give the Contractor a reasonable time to cure the noncompliance. <br /> CLIENT GRIEVANCES <br /> The Contractor shall establish procedures through which applicants for and recipients of services may <br /> present grievances concerning the activities of the Contractor. The procedures shall be written and <br /> submitted to the County for approval.
