5 <br /> correspondence related to the effort required for any procurement activities that arise <br /> from a subcontractor's inability or unwillingness to perform. <br /> 2.3.3 Coordinate all Contractor activities that could affect operations with the Owner. The <br /> contractor shall provide regular communications regarding specific construction <br /> activities that could affect the owner's operation of the plant or may require the <br /> owner to temporarily take specific unit process or equipment out of service. <br /> 2.3.3.Conduct onsite weekly progress meeting(s)and weekly subcontractor meeting(s) and <br /> maintain minutes for them. The Contractor shall attend construction oversight <br /> meetings with the Owner and Design Team as required. The Contractor shall conduct <br /> site tours for the Owner and other officials as requested by Owner. <br /> 2.3.4.Coordinate work site layout,including Iayout work provided by separate trades for <br /> their own work,to insure that no conflict exists with the work of other trades. <br /> 2.3.5.Develop site safety plan and manage job site safety. The Contractor shall designate a <br /> site safety officer to be responsible for all aspects of site safety. <br /> 2.3.6.Prepare and submit for Owner's approval, an Environmental Management Plan(EMP <br /> including, but not limited to,detailed plans for protecting the municipal drinking <br /> water supply and in-stream water quality during construction, turbid water control/ <br /> containment and disposal,temporary erosion and sediment control, storage/handling <br /> procedures and containment systems for fuels and chemicals, sanitary controls, and <br /> emergency/spill response. The Contractor shall designate an Environmental <br /> Compliance Supervisor on the project site during construction to be responsible for <br /> all matters concerning environmental protection and emergency response, and shall <br /> conduct weekly environmental meetings with the Owner. <br /> 2.3.7.Provide sufficient staff to ensure that: <br /> A. Modification proposals are submitted to the Owner within seven (7) <br /> calendar days of the receipt by the Contractor of the subcontractor's <br /> proposal. Only modification proposals that are the result of negotiations <br /> between the Contractor and its subcontractor(s) shall be submitted to the <br /> Owner. <br /> B. RFIs are reviewed and forwarded to the Owner within one (1)day of <br /> receipt. <br /> C. Submittals are reviewed for completeness and, if complete, forwarded to <br /> the Owner within five(5) days of receipt. <br /> D.
