The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning. Therefore, outdoor burning for the <br /> purpose of disposing of construction debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br /> 29. Premise identification, fire hydrants and all required access roads must be in service <br /> prior to commencement of construction. <br /> 30. Fire safety practices during construction must be in compliance with the Uniform Fire <br /> Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During Construction." <br /> 31. Trash Collection - Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum <br /> of five feet from the building [UFC 1103.2.2, 1994 Edition]. <br /> 32. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br /> reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during <br /> construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such as areas of <br /> � exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and <br /> maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle track-out is also a <br /> major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br /> Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br /> 34. The proposal must also comply with all other City Code and Ordinance requirements not <br /> specifically set forth herein. <br /> G�NEitAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. The Police Department has the following security recommendations: <br /> a. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 3-4 foot candles. <br /> b. A monitored fire and intrusion alarm system zoned for each entity should be <br /> provided. To provide protection in case of armed robbery, include remote panic <br /> buttons and/or foot trip if using customer counter. <br /> c. If offices will be handling cash, an actual money safe shouid be installed (for next <br /> day receipts only). Seismic detectors and passive infrared alarm sensors should <br /> also be instaiied in the room. <br /> d. The perimeter doors should be solid core or metal with double cylinder dead- <br /> bolts installed. If doors open to the outside, or hinges are exposed, pin hinges <br /> should be provided. <br /> e. If store front glass doors are part of the project, they should have locking case <br /> bolts top and bottom. The door should have a maximum security dead-boit with <br /> 1 3/4"throw and 3/4" laminated steel. <br /> f.
