Concurrence by the
City is indirated by my sigaature in the space provided. I would however, like to
c;anfy three points.
First, the new storm drain wili be approximately 48 inch diameter. The actual
design criteria will be to pravide a capaciry at least equal to the p:.ak discnazge in a
25 year storm, but no greater'than the peak discharge in 100 year storm. These
dischazge rates have previously been cemmunicated to Scott Sherrow of Entranco
Engineers.
Scond, I'd like an estimate of the cost of de engineering services for design of the
storm drain. It would also be hetpful to ob.:.in a copy of the amount bid for the 30
inch storm drain.
Finally, the City will have the otion not to proceed with the storm drain
unprovemenu if an unfavorable bid s received.
Please give me a call at 254-8800 if you have any questions.
Sin ar ly
n .
Dan Mathias, PE
Utilities Engineer
PUBIIC WORfCS DEPAR7MF.I(I'
3200 Cedar Street, Everett, Washineton 98201 (2061259-8800 FAX (206) 259-8882
