I❑ order to improt�e pedestrian access from the food center <br />to the bus stop, we recommend that the developer contact �erett <br />Transit and request that the existing bus stop on Evergree¢ Way <br />be moved north so that it is closer to the proposed food center. <br />e. Everett Transit is also recommending that the developer/tenant <br />agree to provide free transit passee for a brief period after <br />occupancy, preferential parking for �:idesharing, and a procedure <br />to provlde rideshare information. <br />28. The applicant proposes to demolish an existing structure�s). Improper <br />disposal of solid waste, including demolition wa3te, can result in <br />environmental health hazards. The applicant should ide¢tify the <br />ciisposal site for the demolition material. In addition, the applicant <br />s4ould be encouraged Co pursue miti�ating activities such as salvage, <br />reuse, and recycling of the demolition materials. <br />The npplicant should reier to the County Comprehensive Solid Waste <br />t•fanagement Plan to ensure that the intent of thie plan with regard to <br />waste management and recycling is addressed. An Environme¢tal <br />Impact Statement is not required under RCW 43.21C.030.(2) (c). This <br />determinat±on ass�es compliance crith state law and city crdinances related to <br />general environmental protection including but not limited to right-of-way <br />improvement requirements, drainage, etc. This decision was made after reviec+ <br />of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file srith the <br />lead agency.
