FIi:LD lAVES'[7C:ATIG\5 <br />2._1 Previous Field ir.vastiRations <br />Field investigatior.s consisted of inspertions of the building complex by <br />tBe undersigned on two occasions, assisred as necessarv. <br />The first inspection wa5 made on October lA, 1972 for the purpose of <br />obtaining important dimensions of the buildings and their s[ructural <br />elements and observin� exposed parts of the structures. Since the <br />business was fn full operatior at that time no finlshes were disturbed, <br />wi[h [he exceptien of a sniail area of plasterboard in the ceiling of the <br />Service Entrv. <br />The second lnsper.tion was made on pctober 23, 1972, It was our under— <br />standing that rhe building w�ould be vacan[ at that time and we could <br />remove finishes as r.ecessarv to discover Lhe structure. Although the <br />busiaess was sti.11 in full operation we removed an a-ea of ceiling <br />plasterboard and wall paneling in the Showroom to expose structure which <br />could not be seen otherwise. <br />2.2 Future Field Inspections <br />We will inspect certain parts of the structure on November 7, 1972 to <br />assist in finalizing our drawings of the Proposed Structural Modificatione. <br />Unless otherwise directed, !t is our intention to observe the etructural <br />conditions exposed durinR che modification work to confirm our assumptione. <br />2 <br />�• <br />%—;,.i ,%' �_ _'c. , ; �._:_ - . � <br />i— ✓ <br />
