The new fuel taaks must be registered with Department of Ecology's <br />Storage Tank Uait of the Hazardoua Waete Program within 30 days of <br />being put into service. The notification form can be obtained by <br />calling Ms. Jean Witt at 1-800-826-7716. (SEI�A Soils and Water <br />Policiea) <br />3. The new fuel tanks must be iastalled ia accordance with the <br />Environmental Protection Agency's Underground Storage Tank Regulations. <br />(SEPA Other Policiea) <br />4. Any grading/fill on this site shall be doae so as to not impact the <br />surrouading properties. Any retaining wall greater than three feet <br />high along a property line must be reviewed and approved by the <br />Plaaning Department. (SEPA Earth, Land and Shoreline Use Policies) <br />5. Screening of all outdoor refuse disposal areas must be provided so that <br />they are not visible from public righta-o£-�ay. The disposal areas <br />must be shown on the site plan submitted for buildiag permits. (SEPA <br />Aesthetics Policies) <br />6. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all kaown, <br />available, and reasonable means of controlling sir pollution, including <br />dust. Dust generated during construction activities can be controlled <br />by wetting those dust sources such as areas of esposed soils, washiag <br />truck srheels before they leave the site, and insta111ag and maintaining <br />gravel construction entrances. Construction vehicle trackrout is also <br />a majar dust source. Any evidence af track-out caa trigger violations <br />and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air <br />Pollution Control Agency. (SEPA Natural Environment/Air Qualitp <br />Policies) <br />MITIGATION REQUIRED BY EXISTIiJG CODES AND ORDINANCES <br />1. Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design and Construction <br />Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works Department showing <br />site parking layout, landecaping, utilities, storm drainage, temporary <br />constructioa eroaion control, and all required improvements in the <br />public right-of-way. Public Works Department approval of these <br />drawings is required prior to any permits being issued. A11 <br />improvementa shall be completed, approved, and warranted hefore the <br />Occupancy Permit is issued. (SEPA Other Policies) <br />- 2 - <br />
