Fire lanes shall be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire <br />lanes shall be identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARKING - <br />FIRE LANE" and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY <br />ZONE." Location shall be approved by tha Fire Marshal. <br />25. Premise Identification - Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address <br />at the street entry. Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and <br />legible from the access road. Individual apartments and suites, where applicable, <br />shall be clearly and legibly identified from the access road. <br />26. Fire Flow - Fire flow requirements for this structure are 1,750 gpm. <br />27. Portable Fire Protection -,4 portable fire extinguisher with a minimum U.L. rating <br />of 2-A:10-B:C shail be prov�ded within 15 feet of travel on all fioors of each <br />building during construction and prior to occupancy. <br />28. Kitchens - Install a fire extinguisher with a U.L. rating of K within 30 feet of the grill <br />and deep fryers. <br />29. Fire Alarm S stem - An approved automatic fire detecfion system shall be <br />provided as required by City Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the <br />Everett Municipal Code. <br />Plans for such system shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and <br />approval prior to installa!ion. Submittal shall include cut sheets of all equipment <br />intended for use. Appropriate trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department <br />ir�spector, shall be performed, along with a certificate of completion, prior io final <br />acceptance of the system. <br />Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br />Fire alarrn systems shall be installed under permit of the Ciiy of Everett Building <br />Departmeni. Electrical inspections and approval are required Nrior to calling for <br />acceptance tests. Call (425) 257-8810 for permit information. <br />30. Commercial Cookinq Operations - A ventilating hood and duct system with an <br />approved automatic fire-extinguishing system shall be provided in accordance �Nith <br />the Mechanical Code for commercial-type food heat-processing equipment that <br />produces grease-laden vapors. <br />
