C <br />2. Wall details and locations of repair should be <br />shown on the drawings for the drywall <br />replacement in fire -damaged areas. Where <br />exposed, the partitions should be reinforced to <br />resist minimum 5 psf horizontal load, per IBC <br />section 1607.13. <br />3. Coping materials of the parapet should be <br />shown as noncombustible, per IBC section <br />705.11.1. <br />4. Elevations for all new doors should be shown <br />on the drawings and if doors include glazing, <br />the glazing should be identified as tempered, <br />per IBC section 2406.4 (1.). <br />5. A reflected ceiling plan should be included in the set to show the materials or exposed <br />ceiling construction planned for the project. Dropped ceilings are to comply with the <br />details and installation requirements of the attached Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau <br />guidelines. <br />Accessibility <br />1. The indication of an accessible route should be shown to include the building entrance, <br />with a slope not greater than 1:20, per ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 section 402.2. The <br />existing slope of the exterior paving and modifications required to maintain a slope not <br />greater than 1:20 on the accessible route to the building entrance should be shown on the <br />drawings. ,- I <br />Looking south at obstacles to <br />entry <br />2. Hardware in the new addition for new doors, or reinstalled existing doors, should be <br />shown on the drawings to comply with graspability requirements of IBC section <br />1008.1.9.1. <br />3. If vision lites are provided in new doors, or reinstalled existing doors, the location of <br />the vision lites should be shown on the drawings to comply with A117.1-2003 section <br />404.2.10. <br />Energy <br />1. The new addition will require insulation to be shown on the drawings to comply with Table <br />13-1, per WSEC section 1310.2 for slab on grade construction, walls and roofs. <br />2 <br />
