Construction <br />1. Primary and secondary roof drainage should be shown on the drawings, per UPC <br />sections 1101.11.1 and 1101.11.2. Gutters are required on the roof of the new addition, <br />and should be shown on the drawings, per UPC 1101.11.1. <br />Pacific Response: <br />The gutter had been shown in Section 10 on Sheet 6, and cat on ROOF FRAMING PLAN <br />on Sheet 4. A gutter is not required along the rake edge as detailed in Section 13 on <br />Sheet 6. Atypical splash block detail was also shown in Section 11 on Sheet 6. <br />Additional notes have been added to the ROOFFRAMINGPLAN on Sheet 4 and the new <br />Roor• PLAN on new Sheet 4.1 indicating the gutter and downspout installation. <br />2. Wall details and locations of repair should be shown on the drawings for the drywall <br />replacement in fire -damaged areas. Where exposed, the partitions should be reinforced <br />to resist minimum 5 psf horizontal load, per IBC section 1607.13. <br />Pacific Response: <br />Refer to the plans on Sheets ?, 3 and 4 for new notes indicating gypsum wallboard <br />removal and replacement locations. A note has also been added to the PARTI41, <br />FOUNDATioN/Ft ooR PLAN on Sheet 3 discussing new full height studs and attachment <br />requirements for the observed original partially unsupported ivall that (lid not extend <br />up to the rooffinning. <br />Coping materials of the parapet should be shown as noncombustible, per IBC section <br />705.11.1. <br />Pacific Response: <br />We have nodifled Section 8 on Sheet 6 and Section I on Sheet 4 to show <br />noncombustible construction of coping materials. <br />4. Elevations for all new doors should be shown on the drawings and if doors include <br />glazing, the glazing should be identified as tempered, per IBC section 2406.4 (1.). <br />Pacific Response: <br />Refer to sheet 4.1 for new door elevation and notes for hardware and energy <br />requirements. No glazing is called for on the new doors. <br />5. A reflected ceiling plan should be included in the set to show the materials or exposed <br />ceiling construction planned for the project. Dropped ceilings are to comply with the <br />details and installation requirements of the attached Northwest Wall and Ceiling <br />Bureau guidelines. <br />Pacific Response: <br />Refer to new Sheet 4.1 for a new STORAGE REFLECTED CEtLtNG PI'IN with a note <br />indicating the lighting requirements/calculation to meet the ilrashineton State E)iercn) <br />Cole wafts persgnarefoot. <br />The rooff ranting is exposed 2x tongue and groove decking in the main building (the <br />same as it was prior to thefire).
