S by <br /> "Rdb AJ A i2.,n[q , herein after referred to as "Owner'. <br /> I <br /> !Whereas,; the City of Everett, a municipal corporation under the. laws of the State 4f` <br /> Washington, hereinafter referred to as "City", desires that its Fire Department be <br /> provided the opportunity to practice Structurally Damaging Evolutions pursuant to the <br /> provisions herein; and <br /> Whereas, the City's Fire Department needs to perform ladder, ventilation, hose, fire <br /> suppression, equipment practice, forcible entry, search and rescue, salvage, overhaul, <br /> self-contained breathing apparatus and hazardous materials evolutions, and conduct <br /> other activities as part of their training; and <br /> t <br /> IWhereas, the cost of building structures or props needed to perform such evolutions <br /> greatly exceeds the funds made available for that purpose to the training budget; and <br /> Whereas, the owner of a structure to be demolished, recognizing the needs of the City's <br /> Fire Department to perform various training activities, desires to provide access to said <br /> structure for said training purposes at no cost to the City; <br /> t <br /> Now, therefore, in consideration of the agreements contained herein, the Owner and <br /> the City agree as follows: <br /> 1 <br /> 1. Owner hereby gives and grants the Fire. Department of the City of Everett the <br /> right and privilege too enter upon my property located at <br /> ge z.o -'Z-7 e,, se , Everett, and to use the structure(s) <br /> 1 for training purposes which may include burning all or portions of the structure. <br /> t <br /> i <br /> 2. Owner agrees to allow the City's Fire Department to conduct training activities <br /> within said structure from the 9 day of J r.x,re, , tS , which <br /> training activities shall be completed on or before the �.a - day of <br /> J-0 iy , Zo 5 understanding that the Owner may withdraw permission at <br /> anyTime prior to the training exercise commencingwith ng by verbal contact with a chief <br /> officer (Battalion Chief, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief or Fire Chief) of the City's <br /> Fire Department. Furthermore, if for any reason the drill is canceled after <br /> ti beginning, the City assumes no responsibility to demolish said building. <br /> 1 <br /> 4 3. Owner understands that the City of Everett is not agreeing to burn said structure, <br /> but that the City permitted to so as part of the Everett.Fire Department's training <br /> program. <br /> 4..
