'hotos of Existing Pole <br />All of the exhibits �re available for insoection at the Hearing Examiner's Office located at <br />2930 Wetmore Avenue, Sth floor, Eve:rett, Washington. <br />4fter due consideration of the testimony and evidence presented by the Applicant, <br />testimony and evidence elicited during the public hearing, and as the result of the <br />personal inspection of the subject property an� surrounding areas by the Everett <br />Hearing Examiner, tlie following Findings of Fact and Conclusions constitute the basis <br />of the decision of the Everett Hearing Exsminer. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />The Applicant requested a�proval of a Special Property Use Permit to replace an <br />existing 67 foot high Snohomish Couniy �UD utility pole located within the City of <br />Everett's right-of-way at 9830 Evergreen Way, Everett, Washington. The pole <br />will be replaced with a 95 foot high wood pole that will have three antenna arrays <br />and two antennas per array for a total of six panel antennas attached. The six <br />panel antennas are projected to be 62.7" x 7.8" each. They will be flushed <br />mounted on the ��tility pole. In addition, a prPfabricated cabinet of approximately <br />52.2" x 30" will be located within a nearby property (Shurgard property) and will <br />hause radio and backup battery systems. (exhibit 1) <br />The subject property is zoned C-1, General Commercial. In the Comprehensive <br />Plan of the City of Everett, the subject property is designated as a Gateway <br />Corridor. (exhibit 1) <br />3. Properties to the north, south, and east are zoned and developed as <br />Commercial/F�etail. The property to the west is zoned Multiple-Family <br />Residential and developed N�ith residential units. (exhibit 1) <br />4. In order for a Special Property Use Permit to be granted within the City of <br />Everett, the General Evaluation criteria as set forth in the Everett Municipal Code <br />(EMC) 19.41.150.0 must be satisfied. A summary of these criteria is: <br />(a) The need of the neighborhood, district, or City for a proposed Special <br />Property Use. <br />(b) The adequacy of streets, utilities, and public services reyuired to serve a <br />proposed use. <br />
