Specify the following on the plans:(302-b) <br />a. grade and species of framing lumber <br />b. treated foundatin plates <br />c. type and grade of plywood <br />d. design strength of concrete <br />e. design strength of glued -laminated beams <br />f. ASTM designation of structural steel shapes and masonry units <br />g. mix of mortar and grout <br />h. minimum reinforcing bar grade <br />15. Provide assumed design loads on the drawings,including and not limited to: <br />a. seismic zone <br />b. wind exposure and speed <br />C. snow load <br />d. floor live load <br />e. deck live load <br />f. soil bearing pressure <br />g. equivalent fluid pressure <br />16. Specify nailing per table 25-Q. <br />17. Show blocking at ends of rafters and trusses at exterior walls and at supports of floor joists. <br />(2517-h 5) <br />18. Specify the header size at openings over 4' wide in bearing walls.(2517-g 5) <br />19. Note on framing plans: "Double joists are required under parallel bearing partitions". <br />(2517-d 5) <br />20. Call out minimum thickness of 3-1/2" concrete (floor slab on grade), reinforcement, and <br />moisture barrier, if any, on foundation plan. (2623) <br />21. Call out anchor bolt size and spacing on foundation plan and/or details. (2907-f) Show <br />typical wall, retaining wall, basement wall, and shear wall conditions. <br />22. Detail (and reference location on foundation plan) typical foundation sections for: <br />perimeter wails, interior bearing was, depressed slabs, foundation common to house <br />and garage, garage entrance, spread and/or post pads. <br />23. Foundation sections shall be 12/15/24 inches wide, 6/7/8 inches thick, and 12/18/24 inches <br />deep below natural ground surface or certified fill grade required. (T 29-A) <br />24. Provide detail for stepped footing when slope of top and/or bottom of the footing exceeds <br />one in ten. (2907-c 2) <br />25. Show minimum 18" clearance from grade to bottom of floor joist and minimum 12" <br />clearance to bottom of girders. (2516-c) <br />26. Foundation cripple walls shall be framed and sheathed per UBC 2517-b 4. Specify stud <br />size if wall is over 4' high. <br />
