Response to comment #1 <br /> a. Ventilation Requirements:Ventilation shall be provided in the den per section R303, which <br /> wi:l produce 35 ac/hr(air changes per hour) and will ventilate on the exterior of the <br /> residence to an area away from exhaust systems (see exhaust vent on Lower Level Plan, <br /> sheet A 1). <br /> b. Light Requirements: Artificial light to be provided in accordance with section R303.1.3: <br /> avcrage miuimum illumination of 6 foot candles at a height of 30 inches for all new interior <br /> living areas. <br /> 2. Bathroom fixtures: The �vater closet shall have a minimum of 2l"of clear space betwcen the front <br /> I <br /> of���ater closet and sink (see dimension provided on Lower Level Plan on sheet A1). <br /> >> 3. Ramp Slope: 1 inch to 12 inches in slope, has been illustrated on the ramp on sheet Al <br /> 4. Section �vas revised to include a more detailed assembly of the site built trusses. Note: that the <br /> plywood plates are only actually required at the joint near the double top plate. The top chords were <br /> analyzed without webs to consen�atively review the roof structure and to alleviate issues arising <br /> from an improper installation or human error. <br /> 5. Anchor bolts and sill plate are part of the existing structure; however, to alleviate future inqu'ves the <br /> minimum required anchor bolt has been specified (See Detail Z/A6). <br /> 6. Storage shed siding to grade dimension: 6" minimum distance behveen wood siding and ground in <br /> storage structure, typical (See Building Section 2/A6). <br /> �7. Foundation wall insulation: min below srade exterior insulation in foundation wall to be R-10. <br /> � (sho�vn in Detail 4/A8) Inspector to site verify. <br /> 8. The FAP plate and anchor spcci6ed in the calculations have been de6ned on the drawings (See <br /> detail 4/A8). <br /> 9. The location of matcrial spccilications arc as follows: <br /> � <br />
