The �vctland e�tends oCf-site to the west, north and south of d�c subject praperty. Thc wetl:+nd unit includes a scasonal 'l�ype Ns Stre�m (Dogwood-Glm Creck). Tlie majority of the on- site wedvid arca was samrated, but lacked ponding at the surface at the timc of our im�estigation on �tay 16'�, following significantly higher than average precipitation in April and May 2011. Tlie overstory of the wedand is dominatcd by Red alder (Alnicr n�bra, Fac) and ��estern red cedar (Thuja plicaln, Fac), with lesser amonnts of Pacific willow (Sali.r /usiand�•a, Fac�,V) and cascara (Rhnm�u�s pershinna, Fac) also prescnL T�he understory contains hardhack spiraca (Spiraea, douglasii, Fac�V), salmonUerry (Rubus spec7nbilrs, Fac� ) and liimalayan bl:�ckberry (Rubus disrolor, FacU). The hcrbaccous laycr contains skamh cabbagc (Lysichih�m nmcricunum, Obl), lady-fem (Ad�y�ium felii- fcminn, FacW), ;ind crccping buttercup (Ramurndu.c repens, �ac�V).
