WETLANDS (Department of Ecology, Ciry of Everett) Commentors expressed <br /> concern that both direct nnd indirect werland �mpacts be avoided and rhat wetlandr <br /> should be formally delineared and categorized. The Sensitive Areas Ordinance <br /> requirements must be complied wirh, including ary prohibirion concerning use of <br /> wetlands for stormwater treatment or detention. <br /> Although a formal delineadon has not yet h�n performed for Site 1, the <br /> appro�cimate boundaries aze sufficiendy distant from the proposed construcdon <br /> areas so as not to be directly impacted. A formal delineauon and categoriTadon <br /> will be performed and any required buffen provided. No weUand impacts will <br /> cecur as a result of this proposal. The proposal is consistent with Presidendal <br /> Fxecutive Order 11990, Protection of Wedands and Govemor's Executive Order <br /> 90-04, Protecdon of Wedands. <br /> As stated in the EA, stormwater detention and biofiltradon will avoid any indirect <br /> (hydrological) impacu to wedands. These facilities are not proposed ro be located <br /> in wedands or required buffer azeas. Point discharges to wedands or buffers have <br /> been avoided. No new storm water discharges are proposed to the detention <br /> facility south of the site. <br /> 2 <br />
