31. The premises must be cleazly identified by addrr.�s at the street entry. Each building must <br />be cleazly identified so as to be visihle and leg�ble from the access road. When access to or within a structure or an azea is unduly difficult because of secuted <br />openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire-fighting purposes, <br />the Fire Departrnent may recommend or require a key box to be installed in an accessible <br />location. A rapid entry system may also be desirable in orderto avoid unnecessary <br />damage while making entry to any building during an emergency situation. <br />Piease call 259-8726 for further information. <br />33. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor buming. 'Therefore, outdoor burning for the <br />purpose of disposing of construction debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br />34. Fire hydrants and access roads must be in service prior to commencement of constniction. <br />35. Fire safety pnctices during construction must be in compliance with the Uniform Fire <br />Code, 1985 �dirion, Article 87, "Fire Safety During Construction." <br />36. The south driveway exit of the Phase II building must be open to the adjoining property, <br />or a Fire Department tumazound must be provided. <br />37. Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yazds capacity shall be located a minimum of 5 feet from the <br />building [UFC 11.302(b), 1991 Edition]. <br />38. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br />reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated during <br />construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources such as azeas of <br />exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, and installing and <br />maintaining gravel conshucdon entrances. Conshvction'vehicle track-out is also a major <br />dust source. Any evidence of track-out can trigger violations and fines from the <br />Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Agency. <br />GENERAL INFORMATION <br />The Police Department has the following security recommendations: <br />a. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 3-4 foot candles. <br />b. A monitored fire and intrusion alarm system zoned for each entity should be <br />provided. To provide protection in case of anned robbery, include remote panic <br />buttons and/or foot trip if using customer counter. <br />c. If offices will be handling cash, an actual money safe should be installed (for next <br />day receipts only). Seismic detectors and passive infrazed alazm sensors should <br />also be installed in the room. <br />d. 'The perimeter doors should be solid core or metal with double cylinder dead-bolts <br />installed. If doors open to the outside, or liinges aze exposed, pin hinges should be <br />provided. <br />
