S BMITTA : <br />A. At least 30 days prior to be�inning work submit the following data for products not <br />specified by manufacturer (i.e., pip�ng, wire) and products submitted for approval as <br />equal: <br />f�Aanutacturer's descriptive data including operating characteristics, operating <br />pressures, pressure losses, materials used (n products, test certificates, special <br />features, guarantees, and other data required to completely describe the product. <br />Samples of the proposed substitution when requested by Landscape Architect. <br />Samples will be returned to Contractor whelher or not approval is given. <br />B. Record Irrigation Drewings: Contractor shall turnish record drawings of the <br />complete imgation syMem in accordance with the General and Special Conditions. <br />The Landscape Architect shall provide one set of full-size blueline and one set of <br />sepia prints showing ail irrigation work required under this contract. The blueline <br />prints are to be on site at all times during the construction so that Contractor can <br />make a daily record of ail woic installed. <br />Actual location of hidden items inciuding valves, stub outs, manual drains, shut-off <br />valves shall be shown on the prints by dimensions from easily identitied permanent <br />features, such as buildings, curbs, fences, walks or property lines. Drawings shall <br />show aonroved manutacturer's name and catalog number. The drawings shall be <br />to scale and all indicatinns shall be neat. These pnnts will be observed by the <br />Landscape Architect throughout the course of work. After testing and approval of <br />mafnlines and laterals tor coverup, all information noted on the pnnts shall be <br />transterred to the sepia with all indications recorded in a neat, orderly way by <br />Contrac?or. The record sepia shall be turned over to the Landscape Architect (or <br />review at or betore the Provisional Acceptance (punch list) of the Project. <br />At time of final inspection of the completed installation, the Contractor shall have <br />completed revisions to the Landscape Architec4s satistaction, of the "record" <br />drawings (indicating all changes) ready to turn over to the Owner for recording <br />purposes; this shall be accomplished pnor to tinal payment. <br />C. Operations and Maintenance Manual: One manual, bound in a hardback cover, <br />shall ne submitted to the Landscape Architect for review at or before the provisional <br />inspection of system. It shall include as a minimum the tollowing information for � <br />items used on the system. <br />1. List of authorized distnbutors and service representatives forg� item of <br />irrigation equipment, including names, addresses and phone numbers. <br />2. Guarantee/warranty certificates Tor all equipment used and ContracloYs wriflen <br />I-year warranty. <br />3. instruction manuals tor all equipment used. <br />4. Parts lists for each item with exploded wews showing part numbers. <br />5. Complete trouble-shooting guide to common irrigation problems. <br />6. Winterization and spring start-up procedures. <br />7. Chart of approximate times for programmmg controller zones (or watering in <br />spring, summer, and fall. <br />8.
