Any chan�es required for installation of any <br />approved substitution must be made to the satisfaction of Landscape Architec.K and <br />withaut additional cost to Ownec No substitutions will be permitted on site. <br />HROTEGTION OF EXISTING GONDITIONS• <br />Protect work, adjacent property, public, and be responsible for any damage or in�ury <br />arising from thfs contract. Take reasonable care to a�scourage vandalism. Conf�ne work <br />to areas designated. Do not disturb natural vegetarion outside of pro�ed limit lines. <br />Protect all trees and shvbs withfn project limits not dee�gnated to be removed. Repair or <br />replace vegetation damaged as a resuft of Contractors operations to satisfadion oi <br />Owner at Contractors expense. <br />Bo cognizant of ali utility lines and underground obsirucl�ons. Be familiar with all utility, <br />irrigation, mechanical, and electrical plans so that digging/drilling operations do not <br />damage lines. Shou::i utilities or other work not shown on the plans be found during <br />excavations, Contraclor shall promptiy notify Landscape Architect. Failure to do so will <br />make Conirador liable for any and all damage thereto ansing from his operations <br />subsequent to discovery of such utilities not shown on plans. <br />Make modifications to the existing irrigation system as described on the drawings. Refer <br />to as-buifls of the existing system for actual locations o( pipiny, valves a�d heads. <br />Replace or repair at Contractorc expense any existing building, equipment,underground <br />uYslitfes, walks, stairs, andlor forms damaged as a resuR of ContraC.or's operations (n a <br />manner satisfactory to the Owner before final payment is made. <br />FRODUGT HANDLING: <br />Protect work and materials under this Section irom damage during construction and <br />storage. Protect polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe and tittings irom direct sunlight. Beds on <br />which pipe is stored must be fuil length of pipe.
