Common ground shall have white insulating jacket; cuntrol wires shall have <br />color other than white. <br />Splice: <br />Watertight electrical sPlices with 3M, Scott's Lock Seal Taok 3567-78, Pen-Tite PVC <br />socket or RainBird ST-03 with PT-S5 seater. <br />Electrical Tape: Black plastic, 3l4" wide, �pec. grade, min. .007" thick, all-weather type. <br />Duct Tapo: All-weather cloth tape. <br />DRAIN ROCK: <br />Un(ractured rock, 100%passing 1-7/2" square sieve and 0%passing 3/4" sieve. <br />A�eINTENANGE EOUIPMENT: <br />Provide two manu(acturers service wrenches for each head type. <br />EXECUTION: <br />PREPARATION: <br />Available Pressure Verification: Prior to the start of any work, verify size, depth and <br />location of water source. Verity available galionage at required operating pressure at <br />point of conneclion. <br />Discrepancies in Plans: Report to the Landscape Architect any deviations between <br />irrigation drawinQs and the site. Failure to do so pnor to the installing of equipment and <br />resulting in replacing, and/or relocating equipment shall be done at Contraclor's <br />expense. <br />LAYOUT: <br />Lay out work as accuratety as possible to drawings. Drawings are diagrammatic to the <br />extent that swing Joints, offsets, and all fittings are not shown. <br />Stake the sprinkler irrigation system head locations following the schematic design <br />shown on ihe plans tor approval before the construction begins. Alterations and <br />changes fn the layout may be expected in order to conform to ihe ground conditions and <br />to obtain full and adequate coverage of water. It is understood that corrective measures <br />may become necessary but no changes or alteration in the system as planned shall be <br />made without the prior authorization of the Landscape Architect. <br />Where connections to existing stub•outs are required, make necessary adjustments in <br />layout to connect should stubs not be located exactiy as shown. Adjust layout as <br />necessary to install around existing work. Where piping is shown to be under paved <br />areas, but running parallel and adjacent to planted area, intention is to install piping m <br />planted areas.
