Section 3 Statement of Reasons. <br /> City Council adopts the Statement of Reasons for using the alternative public works contracting <br /> procedure, attached hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> Section 4 Public Hearing. <br /> A public hearing shall be held on July 2, 2003 a.m. during the Council's weekly meeting, which <br /> commences at 8:30 a.m. City Council will accept oral and written comments at that public <br /> hearing regarding the appropriateness of using the GC/CM alternative public works procedure of <br /> public works contracting. <br /> Section 5 Public Comment Prior to Public Hearing. <br /> In addition to comments made at the public hearing, written comments will be accepted by the <br /> Public Works Department prior to the public hearing and will be considered by City Council at <br /> the public hearing. <br /> Section 6 Notice. <br /> Notice substantially in the form of Exhibit B shall be published at least twenty days prior to the <br /> public hearing. <br /> Section 7 Final Determination. <br /> City Council shall make a final determination regarding the appropriateness of using the GC/CM <br /> alternative public works contracting procedure following the public hearing. <br /> /09 <br /> itt <br /> Council Person Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of June , 2003 <br /> die- <br /> Arlen Hatloe, Council President <br />
