The license for the Jackson Project was issued by the Commission on the 16th <br /> day of June, 1961. 25 FPC 1160. <br /> (4) Applicant proposes to amend the Recreation Plan approved by the <br /> Commission on December 5, 1994, 69 FERC¶62,188 (1994), in order to conform the <br /> Plan to certain enhanced security measures at the Jackson Project instituted at the request <br /> of the Commission in response to the events of September 11, 2001. <br /> (5) As co-licensees for the Jackson Project,the PUD and City of Everett have <br /> met the statutory or regulatory requirements of Washington State regarding bed and <br /> banks and the appropriation, diversion, and use of water for power purposes.
