The funding of$71, 622 is being provided to continue wages for the <br /> current City Homeland Security Planner position into 2007. There are no local fund match <br /> requirements for this Grant. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): The Council is requested to authorize the <br /> Mayor to accept and sign the contract with the Homeland Security Region One coordinating agency, <br /> Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management. The contract is for the provision of grant funds <br /> of$71,622 to continue the wages of the Homeland Security Planner position in the Fire Department for the <br /> City of Everett. <br /> 27 <br />
