CITY OF LVERETT <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />SPE2IAL PROPERTY USE PERMIT #2-77 <br />WHEREAS,, there was filed with the City of Everett Planning Department <br />on February 15, 1979, an application for a Special Property Use Permit <br />under Everett City Code Section 15.04.070 by Jehovah's Witness Central <br />Congregation, 3126 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington, on the following <br />described property: <br />The southerly 50 feet uf Lot 3, all of Lot 4 and the easterly <br />73 feet of Lot 5, all in the Plat of Pinehurst, Division G. <br />(1730 Madison Street) <br />AND, WHEREAS, February 13, 1980, was set as the date of hearing and <br />proper notice given as required by law, <br />AIM, WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on said date, and the <br />Planning Commission after re;-.eiving all testimony made the findings that: <br />1. The existing single family home on the site will be retained <br />as a parsonage. <br />2. Thirty-one off-street parking spaces will be provided in con- <br />junction with the proposal. <br />3. Access will be off Madison, a major arterial street. <br />AND, WHEREAS, the Everett City Council concurred with the Planning <br />Commission decision at its regular Council meeting on March 5, 1980, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, based on the foregoing findings, DE IT ORDERED <br />THAT: said Special Property Use Permit be granted with the following <br />stipulations: <br />I <br />i <br />i <br />i <br />k <br />i <br />1. The site be landscaped in accordance with the landscaping <br />plan submitted to Planning Commission and City Council. <br />2. A fire hydrant must be installed near the entrance to the proposed <br />church facility as determined by the Fire Marshall. <br />3. An adequate storm water detention plan must be submitted to the <br />City Public Works Department prior to issuance of construction <br />permits. <br />4. That a site plan showing City standard street improvements in <br />ccmpliance with Ordinance 555••78 be submitted to the Public <br />Works Department prior to issuance of construction permits. <br />5. ThaL if the Traffic Engineer determines additional parking is <br />necessary, said parking shall be provided in the area indicated <br />as the "Future Parking Area" on the Final Site Plan. <br />6. The structure shall not exceed 2 stories in height or 25 feet <br />with the exception of the steeple which can extend to a height <br />of 35' or go before the Board of Adjustment for a height variance <br />L__ <br />
