These criteria include: <br />(a) Ali utility faciiities shall be landscaped or otherwise screened to <br />assure compatibility with surcounding properties. <br />(b) A{I utility and communication facilites shali be instalied <br />underground or within stn�ctures to the greatest extent practical in order <br />to maximize safety and minimize visual and no?se impacts upon <br />surrounding prope�ties. <br />(c) Communication towers and waYer storags tanks shail be designed <br />as to be the loK•est height possible to adequately serve the needs of the <br />cornmunity. <br />(d) Ma�ntenance or replaCement of existing facilities, and the <br />installation of new utility poles, switch cabinets, pad mount transformers <br />or other similar utilih� facilities of a minor nature and small scale are <br />exempt from ;his Subsection. <br />
