KQd <br /> Design Development drawings and project description were forwarded to the <br /> Building Depar�ent last week for revie�a of fire and live safty codes <br /> compliance. The following were coeunents discussed during this meeting,. <br /> 1. The Administration and Operation Buildings are tairly straight forward, <br /> the design complies with the fire and exit requirements of the huilding <br /> code. <br /> 2. Fach of the key areas in the Dfaintenance Building were discussed for <br /> possible storage and usage of hazerdous materials. T'he d�sign meets the <br /> exit and fire code requirements. The floor areas are aliowable with <br /> sprinkler system. <br /> j �3. The Paint Storage and Paint Clear-up rooms shall have a four-inch (4") <br /> depressed floor or curb at tha doorways conriecting to the main structure. <br /> 4. The Tire Shop shall indicate type ot storage racks for maxuman height <br /> allowance by the Uniform Fire Cod^. <br /> S. The project shall comply with the 1979 UBC for Building plan, 1981 N� <br /> for electrical, 1979 Uniform Plunbing Code for mechanical elements and the <br /> current state code on energy requirements. <br /> 6. Permit and Plan Check Fee shall be based or� the UBC formula. Electrical <br /> permit to be obtained by electrical subcontractor and the fee is $70- <br /> plus 0.5$ of the bid of all electrical xr,rk. <br /> 7. ror permit application, submit the conq,leted architectural, structural, <br /> mechanical and electrical drawings anc�. calculations to th� Building <br /> DeparUnent. All civil and utilities design submit to the Deparbn�t of <br /> Public Wcrks. Sn"'PA, zoning, landscape and parking layout shall be <br /> approvee� by the Flanning Departrnent.
