Shall not be used in the work if they become unfit after heing previously <br /> � �g approvad. <br /> , 20 <br /> 21 1-06.1(1) Qualified Products List (C�f�L) <br /> 22 The QPL is a listing of manufact+�rcd Nioducts tiiat havf been evaluated and <br /> l23 determin�d suitabie tor use in highway construction. <br /> 24 <br /> � 25 If the Cantractor elects to use the QPL, the mos�current list available at the time <br /> � E6 the product is proposed for use, shall be used. The QPL submittal shall be <br /> p7 prepared by the Contractor in accordance with the instructions in the QPL and <br /> I 28 submitted to the Engineer prior to use. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The QPL identifies the approved products, the applicable specification section, <br /> 31 and the basis for accept2nce at the project level. The listing is divided into two <br /> 32 categories, "Approved" and "Conditionally Approved". "Approved" products are <br /> 33 denoted with an "A". Those products rciay be acceated without additional <br /> 34 sampling. "Conditionally A�,proved" products are denoted with a "CA". The <br /> 35 acceptance and use of these products is based upon edditional job sampling <br /> 36 and/or documentation. All additional acceptance actions need to be completed <br /> 37 prior to the material being incorporeted into the work. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 The Contractor shall advise the Engineer of the intended items for use from the <br /> 40 QPL by reference to the contract bid ftem. <br /> � 41 <br /> 42 The use �f listed products shall be restricted to the Standard Specification for <br /> 43 which they are listed and fulfillment of th� ac�ptance requirement defined in the <br /> 44 QPL.
