If the Coneractor chooscs �o usc the Qualified Products List (QPL) the Contractor shall use the mos[current <br /> list available at the time the Contractor proposes[o use or install the product. <br /> IThe QPL identifies the approved products, Ihe applicable specificalion section, and the basis for acceptance <br /> at the project level. The listing is divided into two categeries, "Approved" and "Conditionally Approved". <br /> I "Approved"��roducts are denoted with an "A". These products may be accepted without s.dditional sampling <br /> or documentaticri. "Conditionally Approved" products are denoted with a "CA". The acceptance and use of <br /> these products is based upon additional job sampling and/or documentation. AIl additional acceptance <br /> Iaciions need to be completed prior to the material being incorporated into the project. � <br /> Those products listed on the QPL will not require advanced Approval of Source by the Enginecr. The � <br /> I Contractor shal! advise the Engineer of the intended items for use from the QPL by reference to the contract <br /> bid item. Items not included on the QPL shall be submitted for approval, using the normal source approval j <br /> process, Requesf for Approval of Material Source,(DOT Form 350-071). � <br /> IThc use of listea products shall be restricted to the Standard Specification for which they are listed and <br /> fulfillment of the acceptance requirement defined in the QPL. Qualified products nc,t confortning to the <br /> I specifications, not fulfilling the acceptance requirements, or improperly handled o� installed, shall be <br /> replaced at the Contractor's expense. 1 <br /> I To qualify for conrinued listing on the QPL, products may be sampled and tested for confortnance to the <br /> Standard Specifications.
