SECTION 8-20.3(14) Signal Systems <br /> � SECTION 8-20.3(14)C OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIOA`S IS SUPPLEMENTED BY THE <br /> FOLLOWINE:: <br /> I 8-20.3(14)C Induction Loop Vehicle Detectors <br /> Induction loops shall be constructed as detailed in City of Everett D:awing No. 806, Standard Plea ;-`sA and <br /> Section 8-20.3(14)C of the Standard Specifications with the following modifications: <br /> II) The loop locations shall be marked on the pavement by the contracror and approved by the engineer <br /> prior ro sawcutting. At no point shall any of the sawcuts pass closer than I'to any utiliry cover. <br /> I 2) Loop Jetector sealant shall confortn to the following specifications: � <br /> SYECIFICATiON TEST PARAMETER LIMITS � <br /> I Safe Heating Temperature 410 F <br /> Pour Temperature 387 F <br /> Penetration 77 F 150g, 5 sec. 10-25 <br /> I Penetration 125 F SOg, 5 sec. 50�nax. <br /> Softening Point, F 210 n;in. <br /> Ductility 77 F cm. IS min. � <br /> Flexibility 0 F,90 degrces, 10 sec., 1/2" diameter Pass � <br /> I CRAFCO Loop Detector Sealant, Part No. 34271, and J-Pat Loop Sealant, Part Tvo. 1158, are preapproved � <br /> sources.
