The temperature outside
c. o at the time was in the 30's. We had just walked through some
ry H heavily `rosted 9rass outside.
H
H r There was some obiuus structural and electrical work going on in
g' the buildinc7. At this point it is difficult to tell if there is
H
' repair work being done, removal taking place or addition going in.
t I could not ask any questions of Mr. McKee with him in the state of
y y mind he was in. It only aggravated him to hear me talk so I kept
''3 0' qu i et.
Each room entered that aias being used by Mr. Greene for habitation
purposes had an electri<:al space heater pluyged in and working.
Norm Vanderpool did not stay for the entire inspection. I did not
have my circuit tester at the time of the inspection and was unable
to determine if the outlets were properly grounded during the
inspection.
When we returned to the main entry way of the building Mr. McKee
continued to put me down to my superiors concerning the mannor in
whicn I was inspecting and that I would not do exactly as he wanted
me to concerning my enterin9 areas of the building he did not want
'' me in, taking pictures, etc. If I did stray a few feet from the
' ' group he had Mr. Greene come and get me.
f' Upon hearing Mr. McKee voice his objections I asked Doug Budden if
my presence was needed for any further inspection of the building
and, if not, I was departing for another inspection. Doug said
 I could leave.
1 Upon leaving the building I could not open the front door. I could
' see that it was not latched in any manner; there was only a door
knob in the door and nothing more. The doors and casings were so
deteriorated that there was daylight showing between the double
doors and •dhen I followed that to the floor I could see a piece of
wood approximately 2" x 4" x 3' bracing the doors closed as they
 open in.
O ; Larry Callahan said, "She can't get out." At that time I started to
slide the board to the side with my foot and I heard Mr. Greene
say, "I'll get it." I said, "I can get it OK now'.', meaning that I
didn't want to impose on him. With that he reached down and grahbed a
wire attached to the board and yanked the board out of place. In
doing so he said in a sarcastic way, "You never do anything you are
told to do, do you." I barely got outside the door when Mr. Greene
slammed the door with all his might. I hesitated a second, expecting
it to fall o top of ine, but instantly realized that the doors opened
in. I then departed the premise.
