� <br />5. The size of the hot water heater required is based on the number of bathrooms and bedrooms <br />provided in the �tructure. For a 2 bathroom/8 bedroom strudure, l"able 5-1 of the Uniform <br />Plumbing Code requires an 80 gallon, first hour rating wzter heater. <br />6. Each Flight of stairs tliat has 4 or more risers is required to have a handrail (one side of U�e <br />stairs). <br />a. Handrails should be located between 3438 inches above the tread nosings. <br />b. Handrail grip-size should be in accordance with Section R311.7.73 <br />c.
