26. M approved sutomatic fue detection system must be provided as required by Ordinance <br />1902A2, Chapter 16.76 of the Everett Municipal Code. <br />Plans for such system must be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval prior <br />to installation. Submittal shell include cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. <br />Appropriate nip tests, witnessed by a Fire Department inspector must be perfocmed, along <br />with a certificate of completion, prior to final acceptance of the system. <br />Fire alann systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br />Fire alarn► systems must be installed under pemrit of the City of Everett Building <br />Department. A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of 2-A:10-B:C must be provided <br />within 75 feet travel distance on each floor of all pcMions of each building during <br />construction and prtor to occupancy. <br />28. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes must <br />be identi6ed by red curbs with wttite stenciling stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE" <br />and vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY ZONE." <br />Location must be approved by the Fse Marshal. <br />29. The premises must be clearly ideetified by address at the street entry. Each building must <br />be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the access road. Each suite must <br />be clearly identiSed so as to be visible and legible from the access road. <br />30. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS <br />ROADS AND FIItE HYDRANTS MUST BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br />COMA�NCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION OF BUII.DINGS. <br />3l. VYhen access to or within a struchue or an area is unduly difficult because of secured <br />openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or 6re-6ghting purposes, <br />the Fire Department may recommend or requ've a key box to be installed in an accessible <br />location. A rapid entry system may also be desirable in order to avoid unnecessary <br />damage whilc making entry to any building during an emergency situation. <br />Please call 259-8720 for further infortnation. <br />Access, as shown on the site plan reviewed is acceptable. <br />32. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning. Therefore, outdoor buming for the <br />purpose of disposing of construction debris or rubbish will not be pertnitted. <br />33. Fire safety practices during construction must be in compliance with the Uniform Fire <br />Code, Articte 87, "Fire Safety During Construction." <br />34. Permits are required for the removal or installation of aboveground fuel tanks. <br />35. Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity must be located a minimum of five (5) fcet from <br />the building [UFC 1103.2.2, 1994 Edition]. <br />
