CA 94521 <br />925-825-4643 <br />faz 925-691436'; <br />BUSINESS OPERATIONS <br />Client records are picked up by IMRM employees and are delivered to the faciliry where <br />they are inventoried and assigned a storage location. Employees then transport the cartons <br />to their locations using either pallet jacks or handcarts. The cartons are then transferred to <br />the racks by hand. There are no motorized fork wcks used in the storage area. <br />W'hen a customer requires use of their records, the basic process is reversed and the records <br />aze delivered to the customer's place of business. During operating hours, six to eight <br />permanent employees will u�ork in the storage area. The building will be secured with an <br />intrusion alarm system. <br />Handicap accessible restroom facilities will be provided for the staff. <br />Business operation hours aze normally 7 am to 5 PM. The facility is open 5 days per week. <br />The faciliry will not be a public warehouse and public access to the storage area will not be <br />permitted. Customers aze not allou•ed in the storage azea. <br />IMRM will occupy the entire building. Racking will be installed in phases. A wall will be <br />provided at the approximate center of the building and will be used to separate the azeas. <br />The wall is not required by code and will be a minimum 2-hour fire rated wall. <br />OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION <br />The operation of this facility will be a record storage warehouse, which is considered to be <br />a S- I Storage Occupancy, moderate hazard, as outlined by the Uniform Building Code <br />(UBC). <br />BUILDING CONSTRUCTION <br />The building will be conswcted in two phases. The final building will be one st�ory, 260 <br />feet by 510 feet with a total azea of approximately 132,600 square feet in size. The initial <br />phase will be 250 feet by 260 feet. There will be a small 1,500 square foot otiice in the <br />southeast comer of the building. The west wall of the initial phase will be utilized as a two <br />hour rated area separation wall when the final phase is constructed.
