There are firc hydrants located around <br />the properry and are connected to the ciry system. <br />A r�•o-inlet fire department connection is provided and attached to the riser system to allow <br />the fire departcnent to supply sprinkler systems and inside hose stations. <br />Fire department vehicle access is provided to the building with paved streets, driveways <br />and parking lot. All azeas of the building exterior are within 150 feet of fire department <br />vehicle access. <br />Access to the IMRM building will be provided by Knc�xx Box located at the main entrance <br />to IMRM. <br />Access doors to the IMRM faciliry are provided along the exterior of the building on all <br />sides. The spacing of the doors exceed the 100 feet limit and are spaced at approximately <br />124 feet intervals. Tlie access doors are provided at main sisle junctions to provide clear <br />access to the center of the building for tire department personnel. <br />Fire Alarm System <br />A fire protection signaling system will be provided in accordance with the Unifortn Fire <br />Code (UFC). <br />Audio/visual alarms will be located throughout che storage azea and office. The <br />audio/visual devices will be located on all levels in the main aisles and end aisles. The <br />devices will not be installed in the service aisles bet�+�een the racks. Operating personnel <br />will normally be in the main and end aisles and only enter the service sisles to place or <br />remove a carton. <br />The individual sprink]er systems will be equipped with water flow switches, alarms shall <br />be amanged to sound on the exterior of the building and within the building. All valves <br />will be electronically supervised in the open position. <br />Manual fire alarm stations will be located within 5 feet of an exit and at strategic locations <br />within the storage area. <br />A U.
