CASCADE GEOTECHNICAL INC.
June 2, 1994
• cut and fill requirements
Job No. 9405-02G
• foundation design parameters, including allowable bearing pressures and estimated
settlements under footings
• lateral earth pressures
• reinforced earth wall design
• site and building drainage, including dewatering of excavations during construction
• pavement section design
• erosion control
3.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Perteet Engineering, Inc. provided us with an undated Grading Plan which they prepared for the
proposed project. Shockey-Brent, Inc. also provided us with a portion of this Grading Plan
showing their requested test pit locations for wetlands mitigation design.
The property boundaries, existing wetlands, and existing topography in two (2) foot contour
intervals are shown on the Grading Plan. The proposed building, drive, and parking locations,
as well as finished floor elevations, are also shown on the Grading Plan.
We understand from a review of the provided information that the proposed project will consist
of the construction of two (2) tilt -up panel warehouse and office buildings with associated
parking, drive, and load -unload areas. No unusually high loads will be imposed by the
structures on the site's soils.
Building A, proposed to be located within the northeastern portion of the site, will occupy
30,600 square feet of area and will have a finished floor elevation of 602 feet. A 28,300 square
2
