Staff Comments on Information Provided: The following are staff's comments on the <br /> information listed above provided by the Port in response to Planning Commission requests at <br /> the September 13, 2005, public workshop. <br /> 1. The history provides a good overview and summary of events that Ied to the North <br /> Marina Redevelopment plan. <br /> 2. No comment on the fact sheet <br /> 3. This information is provided to supplement testimony at the September 13, 2005 public <br /> workshop regarding the economics of the total project. <br /> 4. The story pole information was provided at the public demonstration at Grand Avenue <br /> Park on October 8, 2005. We have asked the Port and Maritime Trust to take photos of <br /> the story poles and balloons to show those Planning Commission members that could not <br /> attend the demonstration. This information should be presented at the October 18 public <br /> hearing. <br /> 5. The Planning Commission requested these maps to indicate the proposed changes to <br /> building height for each block within the North Marina Redevelopment area. It appears <br /> that each residential block is proposed to have a building height 10 feet taller than <br /> allowed under the existing development agreement. No height increases are proposed for <br /> the non-residential portions of the project, with the exception of the Fisherman's Tribute <br /> 3 <br />
