5 <br /> Northeast Area is located in the vicinity of Henry M. Jackson Park in north Everett. It <br /> comprises approximately 1,140 linear feet of 24-inch diameter interceptor main that is <br /> proposed to be upsized to 30-inch diameter. The work is expected to be accomplished by <br /> conventional open-cut construction. The sewer is located within the City of Everett Park, <br /> street right-of-way and within an easement on private property. It is intended that this <br /> project will be constructed together with the other Sewer Replacement "H" areas <br /> however it might be constructed in conjunction with the East Marine View Drive <br /> Roadway Improvement Project. <br /> Task 1 — Project Management <br /> This task is for general coordination of the project including coordination of the contractor team and with <br /> the City Project Manager including meetings, correspondence and communication. The Contractor's <br /> project manager will develop a project schedule and detailed work plan including Subcontractor tasks, <br /> design document review/discussion meetings, in-house quality assurance, etc. Prepare monthly invoices <br /> for work performed during the previous month. Included with the monthly invoices will be pertinent <br /> backup materials, subconsultant invoices, progress reports, cash flow projections and an updated project <br /> schedule. <br /> Contractor Responsibilities: <br /> 1. Provide progress reports including at a minimum; a summary of the work completed during the <br /> invoice period as well as task activities and deadlines for the current month and next month and a <br /> brief discussion of the status of the schedule and budget to date. In addition the report shall include <br /> identification and discussion of any work efforts not included in this scope, if any. <br /> 2. Invoice format shall contain an itemized list of project staff that charged to the project, hourly rates, <br /> number of hours charged, itemized expenses and subcontractor charges. <br /> 3. Provide cash flow tabulation with projections showing estimated future billings for the duration of the <br /> project. The cash flow projections are intended to correlate with the design and construction <br /> schedules. <br /> 4. Provide a detailed project schedule using MS-Project and include all proposed tasks through the end <br /> of design and construction. <br /> 5. Actively direct the Subcontractor's work activities and maintain regular communication with the <br /> project team Subcontractors and the City's project manager. <br /> 6. When directed by the City or otherwise authorized, implement changes to the scope, budget and <br /> project activities. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> 1. Invoiced labor and expenses will be separated by individual tasks. Although individual task budgets <br /> are identified, the Contractor reserves the right to transfer unused budget funds to other tasks or to <br /> accomplish new work tasks if necessary and upon advance approval by the City. <br /> 2. Backup information (i.e. timesheets, mileage logs, expense receipts, etc.) will not normally be <br /> submitted with the invoices except for copies of subcontractor invoices or if specifically requested by <br /> the City.
