Contractor Responsibilities: 1. Review the City's permit checklist,applications and attachments for project permits including erosion and sedimentation control plan. Assist the City with preparation of a SEPA Checklist for the project. City Responsibilities: 1. City will take the lead in processing permits not otherwise covered in this scope. 2. City will prepare the initial draft of the SEPA checklist and other environmental permit applications if needed. Work Products: 1. Miscellaneous graphic exhibits,reference plans and technical support. Task 7— Public Involvement 1. Assist the City in conducting one neighborhood open house meeting(graphic materials, presentation, etc.)at approximately 60%progress. 2. Participate in one individual meeting or other interaction with neighborhood residents to develop design and cost issues. City Responsibilities: 1. City will take the lead in conducting public involvement activities,mailing etc. Assumptions: 1. Assume a very minimal level of involvement by the Contractor. Work Products: 1. Miscellaneous graphic exhibits, reference plans and presentation support. Task 8— Bidding This task provides assistance to the City during bidding and award of the projects. It is planned that all four project areas will be constructed as one project. However, at the City's discretion, the NE area may be removed from the contract documents and inserted into the contract documents for the East Marine View Drive Roadway Improvements project. The Contractor will provide engineering services to answer bidders questions, prepare addenda and attend the pre-bid meeting.
