• 6 <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> • <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 1.6 Construction Management&Inspection <br /> These services will be provided from the Notice of Award of a construction contract to <br /> the final acceptance of the project. Under this task, engineering services will be provided <br /> to the City during construction of the project. <br /> Provide project management throughout the construction phase of the project. Provide <br /> project management of contract, staff and subconsultants to ensure project coverage <br /> during construction and compliance with the project budget. This element will also <br /> include facilitating and coordinating the work of project team members and the City. <br /> TIC will provide a full-time Project Manager on site. This Project Manager will also be. . <br /> performing many of the inspection tasks. See Item 1.14. <br /> Assist the City and Contractor in the acquisition of necessary permits for the construction <br /> of the proposed improvements. Permits will include building, grading, erosion control, <br /> and drainage permits. The acquisition of the permits will be coordinated with PUD and <br /> the City technical services department. All permit fees shall be the responsibility of the <br /> City or others. <br /> Prepare an agenda and invitation list for a pre-construction conference and coordinate <br /> with the City regarding the conference details. Conduct the pre-construction conference, <br /> prepare a written conference summary, and distribute the summary to all conference <br /> attendees. <br /> 1.7 Shop Drawings & Submittals <br /> Maintain a current submittal list that will record and track the progress and status of all <br /> project submittals. Receive and record all shop drawings and submittals by the <br /> contractor. Distribute shop drawings and submittals to the appropriate reviewer. <br /> Monitor status of submittals. <br /> Review shop drawings and other technical submittals for compliance with the plans and <br /> specifications. Consider and evaluate any alternatives or substitutions proposed by the <br /> contractor: This review will include all shop drawings and technical submittals except <br /> those directly related to the fabrication and erection of the tanks and electrical <br /> improvements. <br /> Receive,review, and report to the City other non-technical submittals by the contractor <br /> including construction schedules, shop drawing/submittal schedules,lump sum price <br /> breakdowns, and other submittals required by the contract documents. <br /> Page 13of19 <br /> 31 <br />
